Credit and Finance
All consumers are entitled to a free credit report from the three major credit bureaus once every 12 months. You can get your credit report in three ways: online, by phone, or by mail.
The quickest and easiest way is to visit http://www.annualcreditreport.com, which is the official site to help consumers obtain their free credit report. After filling out a form with your information, you can see and print your report immediately online.
You can also request your report via phone or mail.

Mail: Print, complete and send the request form (found at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/requestformfinal.pdf) to:

If you have been denied credit, employment, insurance, or a rental dwelling within the last 60 days because of your credit report, you can obtain a free report from the credit bureau that supplied the information to the user.

In your letter you should include your:
full name (including generations, such as Jr., Sr., III)
current address and previous addresses for the last five years with the zip code
spouse’s name (if married)
Social Security number
date of birth
a copy of a utility bill, driver’s license, or any document that shows your current address
